Parents of athletes,
In the next few days your son/daughter should be bringing home an invitation to the Varsity Club Banquet IF they earned a varsity letter during this school year. Your son/daughter does not have to be a member of the Varsity Club to attend this event. If your child did earn a letter we sincerely hope they will attend. The banquets are a celebration of our athlete’s accomplishments and the team they played for; they should be there to be recognized with their team. It can be a very special night for many people and we hope you will want to share this experience with them. Please encourage your athlete to be part of this special night.

LAST SCHOOL SPONSORED SPORTS PHYSICAL DATE. PLEASE SEE THE NURSE FOR AN APPOINTMENT. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY
SCHOOL SPONSORED PHYSICALS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE 2008 FALL SEASON.
Current 6th grade students and parents - in order to particiapate in athletics next year, there are some steps you need to follow.
READ THIS LETTER FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION - click here.
1. Complete a pre-sceening medical form - you may get this form from the Middle School Nurse - 607.655.8244
2. Get a sports physical from the school physician - appointments are made through the Middle School Nurse - 607.655.8244. While routine grade level physicals may be done by your child’s private physician, sports clearance must be performed by the School Physician per state regulations.
3. Complete a Health History Form - no sooner than 30 days before the season begins. You must complete a form for each season. You will get this form from the coach during sign up meetings or through the summer mail for the fall season. You do not need to get this form from the nurse now.
