Black Knight Swim Program - Building Entry:
Please enter through the Fitness Center side of the building
(park near the tennis courts and follow the sidewalk)
The mission of the Black Knight swim lessons is to enhance the swimming skills, personal safety, comfort and enjoyment of all participants in and around all aquatic environments. Similar to the Windsor School District the Windsor Black Knight swim lessons will strive to provide a safe and stimulating environment that fosters independent learning and success delivered by a caring and competent staff.

Group Placement: New students will be tested on the first day. Existing students will remain in their
assigned groups from past swim programs. Please contact Jack Tomcho at 655.8273 with any

Students eligible - boys and girls K-12 during the 2011-12 school year.
Groups are based on skills your child can demonstrate - groups are not age based.

Previous lessons, still needs skills. Able to enter water without parent. Advanced kindergarten and older. Has flutter kick. |
Noble
11:05-11:40 |
Has beginning skills. Can float and doggy paddle. Is not afraid of being in the water. Can hold breath with face in water for 3 seconds. |

Able to retrieve objects off bottom in shallow end. Jump into deep water. Able to tread water for 10 plus seconds. |
Squire

Swim front crawl 10-15 yards. Has beginning components of rotary breathing. Swim back crawl for 20 yards. Has beginning components of scissor kick and whip kick. |
Knight
11:45-12:25PM

Advanced swimmer. Working on refining swimming skills. Able to swim, crawl, back stroke, breast stroke. Wants to develop flip turn, starting block skills, butterfly stroke and other advanced skills. Only director or assistant director permission for entry. |
